This really doesn't fit under any categorey so it goes here, in with the bizarre. So, Lydia (who you may be hearing a lot of in entries to come) has lent me her copy of Twilight. I'm enjoying it a lot. It's quite a read. Then again, I haven't gotten very far yet, only about chapter 11. My favorite quote, I just read last night: "You are exactaly my brand of heroine". Now you may be wondering, how on Earth are heroine and girl's camp related? Well, besides the obvious, Lydia is off to girl's camp. It's going to be odd with her gone for the next five days. Then again, odd isn't really the right phrase, more like: heroine withdrawl. I know, the tie-in is cheesy to say the least but... it's a tie-in. And now you know how the two are related!

On a seprate note: Girl's camp...  *brows furrow in to funky jappaneese characters* Lydia describes it as "the best thing in the world" and "the best thing that's ever happened to me" but I've got my doubts. I mean, some of the things they do.... Now, OK, MAYBE if I were feeling REALLY emo, I'd go there and "repell of a cliff" but I don't know. That's one of the supposedly awesome things about it. Another, there are two GUYS- GUYS going to GIRL'S camp. *shakes head* And they hike. And they get no close-but-off-site-beach. I will give them this: they DO cook s'mores, but that isn't saying much, I mean, you HAVE to cook s'mores at camp. And I know I sound weird saying this, but it is a weird traditon they are breaking. They don't BURN their food! Most of the time, you camp, you bring a grill, you get black charcol all over your once-good food. They don't do that. And they swim in a lake. I'm more of an ocean camper myself but it's just so... EW! A lake? They have to wear shoes in the lake because it's so dirty! When you camp near an ocean, you don't have that problem. When I camp, you get:

• A beach
• Grilled food
• S'mores
• Tents
• No cliffs to repell yourself off of...

The list goes on... but I think I've said enough aobut girl's camp.
